as for the OP - I haven't even thought about it... XP is fine for my needs, along with 2000 Pro, I don't care which I'm on between the two.

Edit: OP - why did you list your monitor? 😕
 
I just bought the Windows Vista Home Premium Upgrade today from CC. Got a Lexmark X2480, TaxCut Deluxe+State, and a D-Link Wireless-G router free after rebate with it. I've also got another copy of Vista Home Premium Upgrade on the way for buying a new Asus notebook last week. Said that it could take 4-6 weeks for it to arrive, so I'll just pawn it off to one of my buddies once it gets here.
 
I'll probably get ultimate edition, but going to wait awhile till I upgrade. I'd like all the features of home premium but want to play with all the business features as well. My rig is pretty competent but I'd like to wait to get up to nextgen stuff first... hopefully there will be a price drop soon 😉
