Windows Vista Windows Explorer runtime error

Alright, i have a problem. Every time i log in to windows an error pops up stating:

Windows Visual C++ Runtime library:
Runtime Error!
Program: C\Windows\Explorer.exe
This application has requested the runtime environment to terminate it in an unusual way.
Please contact the applications support team for more information.

I press OK on the dialog box and it restarts windows explorer. Then it just pops up with that same window again telling me about the Runtime Error. Then it starts all over again. I've ran all the virus scans and spyware/rootkit scans i can think of, and they find nothing. I've disabled as many start up programs as possible. And still, getting the errors. How can I fix this!??

Stop overclocking, run a memory tester to make sure your RAM is operating correctly, and reinstall Vista (in that order).
