I have the evaluation given by Microsoft and was wondering if I would be all right running the upgrade from Vista to Seven. I guess I don't know if an upgrade option is available because all I have is an ISO right now.

Otherwise, should I do a fresh install?

Thanks

I almost always do a fresh install when installing an operating system. Its safer, removes most potential problems, and allows the new OS to be free of any pre-existing issues you may have had on your old install.

Agreed. It's a way better idea to just back up data and then do a clean install.

The upgrade should work although I would recommend a fresh install.

However, I did read that Microsoft were keen for people to try the upgrade from Vista with the forthcoming RC of Seven as this will be a real-world scenario when it comes to release time.
