Windows Vista widescreen resolution?

ok i installed WinVista today and i installed my drivers and including the latest vista x64 nvidia drivers from the nvidia site, since i have a viewsonic VA1912wb monitor i installed the viewsonic vista x64 drivers too...the problem is i cant go tomy native resolution of 1440x900....does anyone know how to fix this?
 
The Vista driver may simply not support that mode. If you're feeling lucky you can go to the nVidia control panel, click Screen Resolutions and Refresh Rates, and then click the Advanced button, accept the warning that what you do may cause your monitor to implode and reappear in another dimension, and then play with the timings to try and get that mode working.
