Hey all,
In XP days, I'd set Nero Recode to encode videos overnight without a hitch. Since switching to Vista, though, it seems that the program pauses around 1:30 to 2am (judging from the log files), until I touch the computer the next morning.
The computer doesn't go to sleep or hibernate, but I'm almost sure there's something with regards to Vista I'm missing. I've set the Power Options to High Performance, and even set up a custom profile and switched all the options to: "stay on unless the lights go out" - but still the same issue.
Any settings/tweaks I should look at? Looking for any ideas I can fool around with to get this fixed. Losing 5 hours of dedicated processing time on the computer routinely is a bit aggravating. TIA!
