Windows Vista quick question.

So I will have to buy 2 copies of Vista for my computers? Thats outrageous! I bought a Windows XP cd back in the day and installed it many times on differnt PC's

What you did was illegal.

What's outrageous is that you expect to illegally be able to the same thing 😕

I'm not saying i support the way licensing is done with Microsoft software, but that's the way it is.

It's one PC per CD. That's how it has always been. How were you even able to activate XP?

No, that's how commercial software licensing works. If you didn't read and understand the EULA you have only yourself to blame.
 
If you buy Vista Ultimate Edition, you can also purchase up to additional licenses of Vista Home Premium for $50 each. This is only valid in the US, and only until July 30th (I believe).
