Windows Vista Music Skipping

I have an AMD x2 3800+, 2gb Corsair PC6400mb memory, Asus M2N-sli Deluxe and Creative audigy 2 sound card. Occasionally the music starts skipping. It happens when I am multitasking. I have windows vista ultimate.

Anyone know what could be the problem?
 
Ok.. Removed vista sidebar, solved the problem. Dont know why but it worked.. I installed google desktop 5 and its great!
