Windows Vista Logon Credential manager

I use the upek software for my fingerprint logon to get into Vista. but Microsoft has enabled the credential manager to displaythe fingerprint logon icon next to my user id.

how do i disable it. so that i can still use my fingerprint logon but only show my user id?

"This is more a question for Microsoft... Our software is just adding a new Credential Provider and Windows Vista are displaying each Credential Provider as an icon at login page. It looks like an icon of a user, but it is not, thus you cannot find it in Control panel -> User accounts..."
