That won't keep you from using it, now does it? lol just kidding :)

So let's see ...

Starter Edition - Probably good for brain-less desktops, like vitual shops just around the corner ... access to one main application, most probably web-based one
Home Basic Edition
Home Premium Edition - Probably we'll see this one default on laptops?
Professional
Small Business Edition
Enterprise Edition - That would make it the bigest one for working purposes
Ultimate Edition - Play, play, play ... oh, and tweak ... to play!

Anyway, that's way too much versions in my opinion ... XP has 2 versions (Home and Pro, excluding 64bit), and I don't think we would need more than that ... I mean, isn't windows supposed to be a dynamic OS? Like installing/uninstalling software and components according to the needs? Always thought it was ...

There's no "European version" of XP. Period.

Yes there is, the one with Media Player removed per the settlement.

running shoes
walking shoes
crosstraining shoes
lounging-around shoes (?)
horseshoes

Which one????

So people will get confused just cause there are so many versions? Will it be like all the others who come in here and ask what version of Linux they should get?
