Windows Vista Basic Upgrade Edition

Do you guys think Windows Vista Basic Upgrade Edition is worth $99? It missing the the Aero desktop experince with the Windows Flip 3d navigation. I really think the basic edition should have more like $70. The home premium should have been more like $99-$110. What do you guys think?

I think you should have posted in one of the other current Vista threads. 😛 Ultimately it doesn't matter what we think; we either buy, acquire it, or simply refuse to use it.
 
I would get a version with Aero, the 3D Flip is stupid and i will not use it much, but the Aero UI is very nice and with your system it will fly 🙂

yeah I don't think I would use the 3d system desktop to much. With windows XP, i have set to classic desktop. When i was running beta versions of Vista, I usually set it to the classic desktop as well. The 3d desktop is nice though. I just think microsoft should have included aero in basic home edition. That one of the main features they are pushing for Vista
