Windows Vista and Winrar?

Anyone else having trouble getting winrar to work in Vista Buisiness? I've tried both Winrar 3.61 and 3.62.

Its weird. I can open one .rar and drag the files out. But if I do "Extract Here" or try to get a .exe that requires some other packets to be unzipped i get a error. I know the other parts of the files are there it just won't unzip them at the same time.

What can be done about this? anyone?

Hmm..

I don't know what the problem is. It won't do anything when I tell it to "Extract Here".

I tried 7zip and it did the same thing.

Guess I can go back to Windows Xp.

Open winrar from the start menu. Does it give you the user access control message? Thats what it was doing to me. I disabled user access control and no more problems.

I've been using Winrar under Vista for over a year (betas, RCs, interim builds and finally RTM). haven't had any problems.

Have you tried uninstalling/reinstalling? Maybe it didn't register properly when you first installed.

Uninstall / Reinstall winrar.

I'm near 40 people running Biz or Ultimate and nobody is having problems. Ping rarlabs if you need to. Dropping your OS because "Extract here" doesn't work is kinda silly. If nothing else, use a workaround of simply opening the .rar.
