Will Boot Camp dual booting work OK on a Mac no matter what the version of Windows XP used? For example, both Retail & OEM and both Professional and Home? Does Apple support Vista yet? Thank you for any info you can give me.

Both retail and OEM will work with Boot Camp. Also, Vista works fine as well. I've been using Vista Business since the RTM release of BC without any issues.

If you don't have a Mac Pro then "officially" you can only use 32-bit (x86) of Windows with boot camp. 64-bit versions will install however and you can get boot camp drivers for x64 from torrent.

Pretty sure you'll be okay as long as you have SP2 or better.

Essentially bootcamp will make a partition for your windows install and you'll restart with the XP disc in the drive. After this it'll go into the blue-screened installer just like it does on a PC.

It's pretty painless but a couple of times I had to run the drivers installer a couple times in between restarts to get it to install all the drivers. Dunno if that has been worked out or not.

It will take Windows XP SP2 or better.

So that means

XP Home SP3
Vista Ultimate
XP Pro SP2
Vista Home Premium SP1
etc
etc
etc

Vista x64 works fine on the latest MBP without any issues. Santa Rosa (3rd gen) has issues. Same with Merom (2nd gen).
