Windows utility to set an alarm?

My HTPC is running Windows XP. I sometimes want to set an alarm that will go off at a certain time. I will be watching HD TV on my projector, fed by the HDMI output of the TV card. I want the PC to alert me that it's, for example, 1:30PM. Something like a beep would probably be OK (if it's loud enough to hear but not annoying). Or something else that works and isn't obnoxious. I figure there's stuff out there, but don't want to catch anything installing it. Maybe there's something built into Windows for this? It would seem to be pretty simple. TIA for ideas.

Yeah, thanks. I think either of those will work. What I did was install cool timer. It's pretty full featured, does way more than I need. My HDTV-PC starting doing some very bizarre things after installation, but I think that's just a coincidence. I mean, the program isn't running unless I run it. Didn't see anything else running. I'm right now using my alternate Windows XP install, hoping the problem doesn't replicate ( lockups of Windows, it happened about 4 times today ). I hate those lockups. Just crazy. First the sound would disappear, then I had no control over my HDTV app, and a few seconds later, everything froze. Weird day. It's because of things like this that I like to have at least two Windows installations on my HDTV PC. The boot drive is partitioned for a 3rd, but I haven't installed Windows on it yet. First I'd like to try installing Win7, though to see if I can get S3 suspend working.
