go into your control panel then add/remove programs; all the critical updates you've installed through windows update should be there. for a more detailed analysis of what those updates are, download this free program Belarc Advisor. install and run the program. look under "Installed Microsoft Hotfixes" and click on "details" for more info on each update. :)

Thx Tango57 but what I was wanting to do was to copy all the updates that I have to a cd to pass on to a friend who only has dial up.

Can you help with this please? Sorry, I should have made my requirements clear.

Regards

ohh...ok i see, yeah you're probably better off ordering the free cd Unforgiven suggested otherwise the only other thing i can think of would be to use the belarc advisor program i showed you to list all the names of the windows updates on your pc. then you would go to microsoft windows download site and search for those updates individually and download them manually one by one. hope that helps. :)

If you use the windows update tool, you won't actually be able to find the stuff you DLed. The files go into the specified TMP or TEMP directory and are (or should have been) deleted after install. In order to keep the files for later, you have to have used the manual Download method.
. So just get the CD mentioned above and you will only need what has been posted since last October. See the thread in the OpSystem Section here for more details on what's on the CDs. Got mine a few days ago...
