I am creating an image of a windows 7 machine so that I can push out a copy to many other computers on my domain.
The imaging process was created by someone else before I got this job. I'm just following the instructions he left.
I downloaded all the Windows Updates using "Check Online for updates using Windows Update." Then I created an image. Then I put the image on another machine and joined our domain.
Then I clicked on "Managed by your system administrator." (to get updates from our WSUS server). And it's making me redownload all the updates again. That's over 100 updates including Service Pack 1!
This defeats the entire purpose of creating a new image.
Did I do something wrong?
