I have always been able to use "windowsupdate.microsoft.com" without any problems to update my computer. Now when I try this site I get a message "To download updates for your windows computer, please see your network administrator". The computer is my home computer, thus I am not on a network. What do I need to do, to undo the network administrator problem? I use Windows 98 on IBM compatible computer. Thanks for your help.
 
Make sure in Network Neighborhood you are set for WINDOWS LOGON.
