Anyone else having problems with Windows Update wiping their user profile this week?

I have installed it 3 times today only to have my profile wiped.

Thankfully my backup image repairs it fairly wuickly but it is a nuisance....

WindowsUpdate did its usual update check and reported it had 10 updates this month.

When I installed these updates, Windows told me it need to restart.

When I restarted and entered my password it told me that my profile was invalid.

The only way I could get my computer to load was enter safe mode and use my Home Server backup to restore my computer. This works beautifully each time.

I repeated the Windows Update several times and received the same error.

I therefore dont think it was a random malfnction....
