My windows Update has stopped functioning. Downloading is not the problem, it's the install part. The install status meter bar stays at zero and the program just sits there. I did notice that the Update class has a status of damaged. If you looked at the dependcys for Update class, the IUCTL,INF file is damaged.
I looked on Technet and it sugested Extracting that file and reinstalling it, which I tried but I still have the problem. Has anyone seen such a problem? Is there a way to reinstall the whole Windows Update portion?
