If the option is selected to automatically download updates, will the updates actually install when only a limited user is logged in?

*edit - more info*

I have XP home - when I go to Windows Update site with my limited account I am given an error message (insufficient rights or something). XP is set to automatically search for and install updates @ 3 each morning. Same question - are they actually being installed when the admin account isn't logged in?
