Can I install Windows Update to a CD for use on another computer? My aunt has dial up and has about 80MB of downloads to suffer through. Can I download the updates onto my PC, burn it onto a CD, and then take it to her computer to install? Thanks for the help.

PS - For everyone who I'm sure will say so, I need an answer fast and that is why I posted it in Off Topic. Hopefully the mods will find that $20 I let under the doormat to overlook this thread. :D

Those patches are all available at technet.com... but it's not the most efficient way to collect them...

each patch has a link to the KB article that should have the individual patch download location. Just slap them onto a CD and hope you got them all.

When you view the lsit of updates, click the "More Info" page for each one. It takes you to a page just about that specific update awith a link to download just that update. So you have to do them one by one but yes, you can do them.

Or if you need to, have her do that but then just copy the link into an email or something so you can d/l them from you place.
