Windows update messed my network!

I used windows update the other day and now all of the other computers on the network can not access the updated computer because it asks for a password and username, but I never created any passwords, whats up?
 
Windows xp update (service pack 2) enables the firewall and other security measures.. .prolly need to configure your firewall, the one that comes with xp .. or turn it off

SP2 is not currently available on Windows Update. You can download the release candidate from other locations, however.

eldorado99, can you isolate what update caused the problem? Did you install a lot of updates at once, or just a handful?
 
well I fixed it, I just had to create a password, (I didn't used to need one) and input it when it asked, I was kinda hoping to not need a password though.
