Hey guys! I'm trying to get an updated driver for my Linksys Wireless G card that I know is on WU, but I can't get the WU service to work. When I select the updates or even just the Linksys driver alone, the dialoge box pops up and says the downloads fail. What gives? Does it work for anyone else right now? I have a legit copy of XP Pro that has worked for many months now. I've tried various times this morning to get it to work, but no dice. I've even emptied my temporary internet files.

I just updated my girlfriend's computer last night with the same driver, which is also on my network.

Any other ideas? I've tried copying the RT2500.sys file and installing it on my system, but I need a matching INF or something before the driver installation wizard can use it.

The ones on Windows Update are newer. 2.2.7.0 are on the Linksys site while 3.0.3.0 are on Windows Update and resolve a disconnect/connect issue.

Hah, well I rebooted and...well...now it works. Not sure what was wrong...maybe I had some uninstall/install procedure pending completion somewhere. I guess that's what you get when you have long uptimes and don't reboot often. :p
