I recently did a fresh install of XP Pro. Whenever I try to access Windows Update and select the Scan for updates link, the percentage stops at 25% (or 0%) and remains that way until I exit the site. I haven't installed anything except for the video drivers. Can someone please help me w/ this?

Thanks!

OK, I have been using a "backup" copy of winXP, and just recently, i cant get access to ANY of microsofts search engines. It comes up with nothing. Same with windows update. It will finish the scan, and say there are no updates for my comp. Then i installed a "backup" copy of windows2000, and i get the same crap. Do ya think they blocked my IP? It is static, so it never changes. If so, that would be lame. Anyone else have the same prob as me?

edit: I just tried a friends IP addy, (we have assigned IPs for our apartmens T1 connection) and i still have the same problem.
