Ok, I have never came across this before and I have no idea what is causing this and why its happening..

Im on a new IBM laptop, and when im typing sometimes the cursor will randomly move to a new point, and I will be typing somewhere i dont want to be

Example, Im typing on this line and all of a sudden it jumps 3 lines up and then im typing up there..

anyone come across this before or know how to fix it?

A touchpad would be more like it. I know iwhen I got my laptop, my thumb would bump the touchpad and move the cursor.

ur all wrong...it IS an anomaly.
I have had over 6 laptops do this. Its not constantly but all of a sudden the cursor will move towards top-right
or top-left. But yes, you do see this only when using the eraser pointer. I have seen many pointer-only lappys and
they have this problem. Its irritating but it comes and goes. Can't be fixed :(

I disabled the little UltraNav (eraser thingy) on the keyboard, and it hasnt happend since.. I think that may have been the cause..

I just wrote a 1 page paper and it didnt do it once, before it would do it like atleast once every paragraph
