Windows Temp Profile Failing Sign in Service?

Hey, new to the forums, thought I'd venture a guess here, my user sign in service on a Lenovo workstation isn't going through properly on any new profiles I create. Weird event log stuff going on, it can't find the local profile and is trying to sign on with a temp profile and it can't, therefore failing. Trying registry stuff, but this particular problem is hard to find info on. Any help is appreciated.

Let me know if more info is needed, the task is mildly time-sensitive so I didn't want to waste time with unnecessary details. On another note, please move to a better category if needed? Again, new and learning.

What message are you getting? Was the drive wiped before the instal?

on sign in, the local standard account gave an error of "User Profile Service service failed the logon. User profile cannot be loaded." However, now the admin account isn't taking the correct password.

The drive was not reformatted, but Windows was reinstalled.

However, I'm about to get to the point of starting this particular machine over, I just want to see if this is a problem that is supposed to happen for failsafe reasons. When I could get into the admin account, the registry had some residual SID data from what I assume was a previous install, and at this point in troubleshooting, I feel like some odd corruption is at fault. Never run into it before, though, so I couldn't definitively say.

Already checked through the .dat files to see if there was dynamic creation issues, read/write permissions on the user/default folders and such, but none of those steps worked.
