Recently i've been putting Windows Taskbar on TOP for all my systems. for the longest time i couldn't imagine it anywhere but on the bottom, but the top seems to work well also.

sides just plain.

anyone else?

bottom, and no auto-hide... that just means it takes longer to click anywhere on the startbar.

I don't really like changing it to top. Too weird for me.

Sides = suck because they take up too much space. My monitor is only so big.

Edit: Definitely no auto-hide.

actually, i went to top on this machine because of mozilla firebird. because i have the tabs up top, i keep looking up top first. so i figured i'd put the taskbar there too.

At home I have it at the bottom.

At work it's not uncommon for me to have 20+ windows open at once. With that many windows open the side is the only place it doesn't suck to have the taskbar.

On the left side of the right monitor in a dual 19" crt system, just wide enough that winxp gives me the long date format.....

I keep my taskbar always on top & auto hide on the bottom and address bar with the same settings on top. The address bar is really great, because I can get to any directory on my drives quite quickly.
