Windows tablet warranty repair question

I'm having my DV8Pro picked up tomorrow for repairs by Dell. My screen constantly acts up and I have lots of problems with WiFi not turning on and they said they'd fix it.
In any event, I'd like to be able to see when it comes back what was done. Hardware change, just software change, etc.. What information can I note down now before it gets sent to Dell to compare with later when it comes back to see what they changed?

The laptop of every company is having its specific service center from where you can take the service or repair you laptop from there. Every system is having different problems to fix, So its it better to repair it from the service center, if your laptop was in warranty period then no charges you have to pay.
