I can't remember what it's called, but you can choose an area of the screen to capture.. what program is it? It's free, by microsoft.

I didn't know that M$ had a free version. I use "Snag-it" at work and the built in screen capture at home under Ubuntu.
 
Well for future reference the screen shot software is called Snipping Tool and comes with Windows Vista and 7, and it's a very nice screen shot tool.
