I have just purchased 2 network cards and some cat 5 cable to link 2 PC's up directly. The problem seems to arise when one of my Pc's have Windows XP(Default Gateway) and the other has Windows 98SE(Client). My question was what piece of software would be best to use to auto-configure this?
 
Do not auto comfigure.

WinXP would set it self, and Win98 should be configured manauly.
