when i try to boot off a windows xp cd nnd run setup, it gives me this problem.
"the file acpi.sys is corrupted. press any key to continue"...
once i do, it restarts...
it happens when the blue screen (windows setup) comes up, and it starts to load kernel files and stuff like that, before naything can be done. (all the menus and selections)
help!
btw i run asus a7n8x rev. 2.0
also when sometimes it would say, instead of the error above.
"an unexpected error (536835296) occurred at line 1562 in D:\nt\private\ntos\boot\setup\arcdisp.c"
what the hell is going on? i've never had problem running setup before.
