Downloaded the above from MSDNAA and ran sha1sum. Google results show a different SHA1 result. Most of them out there are .iso variant of the above file. I was wondering if someone who have or know the right SHA1/MD5 for the above .img file post it here.

thanks.

SHA1 is A548D6743129F2A02C907D2758773A1F6BB1BCD7.

I had trouble downloading the file as well. 4 times I tried, file size ended up at 2GB. I think the correct size is 2.6GB.

Thanks jobz for posting that. My download is around 2.03GB (2,181,098,782 bytes). I take it that the SHA1 you posted is for the .img file in the OP. I saw the same SHA1 mentioned in some website for the iso image file. I'm not sure if .img and .iso variants of the same image would generate the same SHA1 sum. Were you able to download the complete file finally?

Microsoft used to call their ".ISO" files ".IMG" files. You "converted" them by changing the name from .IMG to .ISO.

I got exactly the same problem as chakraps. Same size downloaded and my sha1 hash is 7d48458d6e8d0a6e1f933ecd8516e4e4b13baa3d.
Do you have the same hash ?
Did you succeed downloading the complete file ?

Yes, mine's also the same hash.
Nope, I haven't attempted a re-download. I have a barely broadband 256kbps connection. It's rather painful to get the whole thing again.
BobKelso, how did you conclude your download is corrupt. Did you cross-check from another source.
