I have a Win 2K3 server that is primarily a print and fax server on a domain (it is not the controller) Twice in the past month or so, it has randomly changed its own time to be June 20, 2020. Of course, this restricts people from being able to print or fax. Anyone have any ideas on what is causing this? I did a google search to no avail.

Yes, there are no events in any of the logs that give a clue as to what happened. This happed just after 7 a.m. this morning. Last time it happened, I believe it was earlier... like 4 or 5 in the morning. Not that that means anything.

w32time/time services won't change the clock like this. Such a change would fail a "sanity check" and you'd simply get an event instead of a change.

Either the system clock has gone whack, you have another service running on the box that changed the time, or someone has dicked with it.
