Windows Server 2003 - Shuts down Automaticaly

Guys I have a Dell Optiplex GX260 that I put Windows Server 2003 on it. It has been working just fine until the past few days. I added a Netgear wireless nic card using XP drivers, and a Creative Instant webcam with XP drivers. The thing is now, the computer just shuts down. Not just shutting off, but a full power/shutdown. Any ideas? I uninstalled the the webcam drivers using add/remove program and I unplugged it. I then went into "device manager" and uninstalled the WIRELESS card. However, I did not take the card out.

It still continues to shutdown.

Now, I had the nic card installed the whole time without drivers installed previously and everything worked fine. So it is either driver for the webcam or the nic. Any ideas on how to fix this? Thanks!

Take all that stuff back out and see if the problem persists. If it goes away then put it back in one piece at a time until the problem comes back.

I'm one of those guys who doesn't think you need them, unless the driver install utilities are very poorly written. Just uninstall the drivers and remove the hardware is my recommendation.

run a system restore and it should solve your problems. Just roll back to the day before you installed all the stuff.
