I've got a problem, where I keep being unable to print to my shared printers, when I looked into the problem, it apperas that the Printer Spooler Service keeps stoping.

When I restart it, it stop again, and restarts, in a loop!!

I've googled this, with no joy!

It's been working fine for ages!

I did see a simular problem to this on windows XP SP2, and don't think they ever did work out how to fix it, apart from a re-install.

HELP!! I really don't wanna re-install.

Edit:

I've run the spooler cleaner cmd line (from microsoft http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/deta...4ae7-96ee-b18c4790cffd&DisplayLang=en) , deleted all the drivers, and now with no new printers installed, after a reboot the print spooler still does the same thing!

Any advice would be much appericated!!

I have similar problem with SNMP service in one of the Server (not in every Server). It starts and shuts down saying 'Some services automatically shut down when they have nothing to do' :).

I have few more bugs with Win 2003. With every reboot, RecycleBin icon defaults to original. And Task Manager's CPU utilization SystemTray icon is not shown until I restore fresh copy of taskmgr.exe into /system32 folder.
