I've worked with Windows Server 2000 and setup new domains for small networks, but I've not worked with Windows Server 2003 yet. What are the differences between them? Anything different about 2003 that I need to watch out for?
Apparently you should be able to rename/restructure forests/domains in 2003 without having to create transfer domains like in 2000 when you need to change forest/domain names.
Other than that, initial setups are default secure, and network load balancing is much improved.

Same way you do a "clean" install of any OS, start with a freshly formatted drive and work your way from there.
If you dont know how to do a "clean" install than perhaps you should play around longer with Win2K Pro./XP Pro. before moving on to their server counterparts.
