I just reformatted windows and upgraded to SP2. I don't run antivirus or firewall software as I'm behind a Linksys router and haven't had a virus problem in years upon years of using a computer. As such, I'm getting sick of the Windows Security Center popping up everytime I start windows. There is no option to disable it in the Security Center or in msconfig. Is there any other way to disable it so I don't have to put up with it every time I restart?
Also, could it be the program that is causing me to startup with ~140MB of memory in use? I start-up with the MS Mouse program, my sound card control panel, and my USB wireless adapter every time and was using ~70MB at start-up before reformatting and upgrading to SP2. Any ideas?
