I have a user that wants the following feature to work.

Searches for a phrase in a visio file on a network share Q: , it cant be found.

User has it on his C: and H: drives and can search and find it.

H: is his personal network share different server from the Q: drive.

I found this Microsoft Article / add-in
Its a Add-in to search within visio files.

My question:
Does this file need to be installed on the server where Q: is mapped to?
When using the search function in winxp on the desktop, and searching network drive does it use the servers index?

I am able to search the Q: drive for phrases within a word document and it works fine.

Hope you can make sense out of this.

Thanks
