Windows Reverting speaker settings at restart

I have a Audigy 2ZS with the newest 5.12.4.1196 drivers and Creative P580 5.1 speakers

Im not sure how long i have this problem but windows keeps reverting my speakers settings back to default (desktop stereo speakers) after each restart of windows XP, this means only two of my speakers will work and the others will be disabled

I thought it might have been Creative audio console so i uninstalled the program but i still have the same problems
