I am pretty sure integrated video solutions use up more than one megabyte of memory even when it is doing something as simple as displaying the desktop. I forget the exact way of calculating the amount of memory required per resolution and color depth and refresh rate but at 1024x768@16bits and 85 Hz will take more than a megabyte to hold all the info. I think that's it; my i815e mobo at work takes 1 MB from Windows too and it's for the integrated video controller.I think your integrated video (if you have) stole it.![]()
