Is one quicker than the other? I am hearing that Remote Desktop is faster and more stable that using the newest version of PC Anywhere. I personally have all remote options turned off in windows xp, but when I am at work on my Win 98 machine, and want to log in at home, I have been using PC Anywhere 10.5. My question is what have users noticed with these two programs? Is one preferred over the other?

Use Remote Desktop. I use it all the time and it's very fast and stable. You can download the Remote Desktop client from microsoft to use on your win 98 machine. Haven't tried PC anywhere yet though.
