Windows Remote Desktop Client - Any way to save window sizing?

I have several boxen that I run headless and manage with RDP only. However, MS has seen fit to not set the size of the RDP window properly. Example - if I select "800x600" for the size of the remote display, it will set it to 800x600 including title and scrollbars. Which sucks. So okay, resize it. However, every time you close it, it goes back.

Needless to say, it's a small annoyance when you have sessions that you connect/disconnect to a lot.

Any fix, patch, alternate (free) clients, suggestions?
