Have you enabled remote connections for the computer you are connecting to?

Start > Settings > Control Panel > System
Click the "Remote" tab and see if you have the "Allow users to connect remotely to this computer" checked. Also verify you have the accounts setup that can connect to the computer.

Which version of Windows are you using?

The host of the RDP session needs to be at least XP Pro, plus the account you want to log in with needs a password.

Its windows XP pro sp2
and the accounts is the administrator on both of the machines and i do have the passwords but it never asked for it

add your admin to the remote users and i thin you have to set a p/w for this to work.
