windows reinstall question

Hehe, I guess I didn't think the question out well enough. I meant restore and image of a complete drive. I think the answer is no.
 
Yes but, you would be back to the Home version and possibly be broken. I would first ask what is it you want to do with your computer that you cannot do in Home?
 
Sure, when you restore an image it overwrites the destination filesystem completely so it'll work fine.
 
Well I formatted my father's laptop for him and was going to reinstall Xp pro but my disc is missing. I ended up using my new Home OEM disc and I had to use the same key. So now I have 27 days to figure out what to do. I don't really want to re-format it because I just got everything installed.
