I'm gonna format my hard drive, and either put on win 2000 or win xp beta. My only use is for personal use, gaming, and its on my dsl network. Question what OS would you go with and what partition?? Athlon 1.2 Ghz, Abit kt7a, 512 pc 133 ram, 30 gb diamondmax plus hard drive.

Well, I haven't worked with XP at all and don't know much about what it offers you but Win2k is a good OS. Hasn't done me wrong and it's easy to use. I don't know about XP but if you play games you should look into their compatibility before you install an OS. Although Win2k is supposed to be NT with games, there are plenty that won't work and lots take performance hits from 98SE.
