windows protection error

c:\windows\system\vmm32.vxd missing/unable to load

i would imagine this has to do w/ the ram

it is a fresh install of windows, and i've tried about 5 different ram chips
lmk how to fix this

wow that was wierd. i used a 16x64 128mb chip and it works fine
