This really irritates the h!ll out of my. Why does it take Windows so long to cancel a print job and STOP PRINTING?????
No I'm not talking about the printers memory taking time to empty, you can turn the printer off then back on while windows is deleting all print jobs and it will start printing again.
The only reason I can think of for this behavior is that MS is in cahoots with ink cartridge mfgs. Yes, lets print 5 more pages after the delete all jobs is issued, we'll sell more ink carts that way.
Seriously, can it be all that difficult to just instantaneously stop sending data to the printer and at the same time telling the printer to purge it's memory and STOP PRINTING?
Thanks
