Windows Power Metter (battery) doesn't display estimated time left

All laptops I've every worked with have had an estimated time remaining figure in the balloon that pops up when you hover over the battery systray icon.

My roomie's has no predicted time either but then again, his battery shows up as nonrechargeable type in NHC. Maybe it has to do with how much the battery can communicate to the laptop.

Its a bios support option, no bios support no option 🙂 Use Centrino Hardware Control as it can calculate this for you

my dell 700m used to do that too, then they finally fixed it with the 3rd bios update~
was very annoying indeed.
maybe you just have to wait for bios flash updates
