Windows - PC problems

Hi

I have started to have problems with my PC which runs under Windows 98.

1. The mouse sometimes goes slow, sticks and sometimes freezes.
2. Sometimes screen goes blank and i have to re-boot the computer.
3. Sometimes windows minimise on their own ?
4. Sometimes without any intervention by myself on the mouse or keyborad the icons seem to select themselves on their own.

Any ideas

Have you checked for viruses? You may have a trojan.

If your system is a really old install, ie you have not formatted for a long time (eg over 18 months), you may consider doing so in order to clean everything up and start again with a fresh install. That usually gets rid of a lot of problems that crop up over time under Win9x.
