WINDOWS OUTLOOK CONTACTS FILE LOCATION

I'm new to this. I had a dell motherboard die on me and all my outlook contacts were on the hard drive. I put the hard drive in a computer as a slave on another computer that I own and I think it archived or hide all my programs and files. I searched and recovered everything except for my outlook contacts. Any ideas?

You need to find the .pst file.

In Outlook, click on "File" and then "Data File Management". This will open a form that shows the files. The default name for the file is Outlook.pst.
See where the file is.
Now, look for the same file on the old hard drive.

After you locate the .pst file in the archives, in outlook, click on "File" and then "Import and Export". Select "Import from another program or file". Import the pst file from the archive. That file contains everything, including all your emails and all your contacts and calendar content .....

Edit:
This is the first time I am replying to someone with only one post. Cool!
Welcome!

Well I can't open Outlook on the old computer because it is hidden or archived. Not sure but it will not open. I found the outlook.pst file and saved it but it only had my email addresses on it. I was syncing my windows mobile 6 phone with vista and it wiped out all my contacts which I had on my old computer in Outlook. Any other ideas?

I did not mean that you open outlook on the old machine. I meant you open it on the new machine to figure out the path to the outlook.pst file. Then, use windows explorer to get the outlook.pst file from your old drive from the same path. I just did not know where the file is stored. So, suggested that routine to find it.

Anyway, if you already have the file and the contacts are not on it, I don't think you can get them any other way. I believe the contacts are stored on that file.
If they have been deleted, they are gone unless you have a backup.
