Windows OS Install Tweaks for OEMs

What method is used by OEMs to actually set-up and pre-configure a system, then still allow the system to start up as if it's the "first time" and go through all the typical registration BS?

I'd really like to figure out how it's done, and I haven't been able to find anything about it by searching with Google.

Anyone have a link for me? Your help is appreciated...

It's called sysprep. (If they're doing it right, that is.)

And the docs are on the Windows CD.

And yes, you can use sysprep to clone machines too, and MS will support it.
